GENERAL REGULATIONS

 
  1. Every student must read the College Calendar, which must be brought to college every day. Ignorance of the rules will not be accepted as an excuse.
  2. Every student is required to carry their identity card issued by the college. The card should be shown to any member of the staff or college officials when asked for, especially when dealing with the office and library.
  3. Students are not allowed to bring any valuable articles, such as mobile, gold earnings or anklets mobiles, I-pods, Laptops, FM, etc. to the college. The college will not be responsible for lost articles. Bring or use of mobile phones, any kind of electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited in the classroom as well as in the college campus. If a student, if found in possession of any such article, she/he is liable to be suspended from College. The college authorities have the right to check the belongings of any student in case of suspicion.
  4. Care of college property and cleanliness of the college premises is the duty of every student. They are asked not to deface the walls or ruin the furniture. Dust bins and baskets are provided for waste papers. Damage to college property or premises has to be paid for it.
  5. Strict silence in the class rooms and orderliness in the verandas is to be maintained during the college hours. No one is allowed to bring to school any objects which would prove a source of distraction.
  6. No books, newspaper or magazines other than those needed for class work will be allowed without the permission from the Vice Principal / Principal.
  7. Students must respect their lecturers, be courteous and be gentle one another. They must co-operate with the college leaders and class prefects.
  8. Students who lose library books or break laboratory equipment will have to make good the loss.
  9. Everyone is expected to speak English in the college.
  10. Attendance is compulsory for all the students, both on re-opening and the closing day of the college.
  11. No student suffering from an infectious or contagious disease will be permitted to attend college. Medical certificates should be produced to attend the classes.
  12. No student is allowed to leave the college during working hours without the written permission of the Vice Principal / Principal.
  13. Boys must not enter Girls’ waiting room. Girls will have their lunch only in the waiting room.  

Dress Code:

Students should compulsorily follow the dress code of the College that is:

  1. All the students must wear uniform from Monday to Friday.
  2. On Saturday students must wear colour formal dress.
