ENGLISH:
As the mother tongue of most, if not all applicants, is not English, students must prove that they have enough knowledge on comprehensive standard of English. The medium of instruction of Asia Evangelical College &Seminary is to know good English to pursue courses in the College & Seminary. A minimum of B Grade in the examination is essential for theological studies. This examination would also help the faculty to assist student in developing necessary competency in such areas as organization and composition of essays, assignments, examinations, and thesis writing, correct use of source materials in writing, clarity and style in syntax, paragraph, construction, grammar, punctuation and spelling.

SCRIPTURE KNOWLEDGE:
Many students seeking admission come fresh after secular colleges and some come to AECS as new converts to the Christian Faith, with limited knowledge in the Scriptures. Hence, an examination in the Word of God is necessary to assess individual’s knowledge of the Word of God.
